In the Realm of Death & Dreaming:

                              **Does consciousness continue after death or is it lights out?**

In the Realm of Death & Dreaming is the first documentary film in the When You Die trilogy. It opens your heart up to talking about death by asking the big question: Does consciousness continue after death, or is it lights out?

Director Johanna Lunn guides viewers on a journey to find answers by exploring personal stories of near-death experiences, deathbed visions, and more. She speaks with the leading clinicians and researchers who have spent their careers studying these experiences and the nature of consciousness.

Their stories are revealed with humor and compassion. Exploring what happens after death not only helps us decide how we want to be cared for at the end of life, but it helps reduce our fear of death, and that, as is often said, helps us live more fully.

Experts featured in the documentary series:

Dr. Anthony Bossis, PhD; Dr. Elly Claire Hart, PhD; Dr. Dean Radin, PhD; Dr. Penny Sartori, PhD; Dr. Peter Fenwick, MD; David Maginley, M.Div; Dr. Ann Marie Chiasson, MD; Sue Brayne, MA; Dr. Andrew Holecek, DDS; Jill Schock, MTS;

Reviews of In the Realm of Death & Dreaming:

“The documentary validated a lot of what I have been studying as a clinician and an End of Life Doula.”

“I felt hopeful, encouraged and a sense of relief at the mystery, beauty, and transitions of death as described by the speakers.”

“ I’m an end of life doula, so I turned to this film for comfort, reassurance, and guidance so I don’t get lost in fear.”

“It’s a very thoughtful exploration of a complex and often misunderstood topic. Thank you!”

“I liked the fact that the film didn't try to convince me that it is known what happens when we die but shared the NDE's of others so that I can make my own conclusions.”

“This is a great film to help bring an awareness to the death process and the need for research and study. “

“It made me feel even less afraid than I am now of death.”

“Made me feel more comfortable and really enjoyed the way it was portrayed. The music and photography and everything about it was very comforting.”

“This documentary is so beautifully done and informative that it made me feel reassured and more knowledgeable about the biggest mystery we have about consciousness and what happens when we die. Of course none of us individually know what death will truly be like when we leave our bodies for good, but this documentary provides hope that we will be connected in some profoundly meaningful way with our loved ones and all other living things.”

“I liked the fact that the film didn't try to convince me that it is known what happens when we die but shared the NDE's of others so that I can make my own conclusions.
